How Much Does a Mobile Notary Cost in Broward County?
A transparent breakdown of Florida notary fees, travel charges and after-hours pricing — with no hidden surprises.
The state fee is fixed
Under Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 117.05), a notary may charge a maximum of $10 per notarial act — that is, per signature notarized. That part is the same for every notary in the state.
What a mobile notary adds
Because a mobile notary travels to you — your home, office, a hospital or a hotel lobby — there is a separate travel and convenience fee on top of the state fee. That fee reflects distance, time of day and urgency. At Mobile Notary Kingdom our standard mobile visit is $75, a full loan-signing package is $150, and rush / after-hours priority is $125, with a small travel add-on beyond the base area.
Why after-hours costs more
A 3 a.m. hospital signing or a Sunday-morning closing requires a notary to be available when nearly no one else is. The rush fee reflects genuine 24/7 availability, not a hidden charge.
